Hawaiian Day at Portville Central

It sounds like Hawaiian Day was a huge success! My friend Lynne, who organized the day, wrote, "This is amazing! I have been at PCS for 13 years and have never been so proud! You have touched so many lives." Believe me, PCS, you have touched my life in a BIG way! Thank you all so much for your love and support. I wish I could post all of the awesome pictures Lynne took.

What an awesome turnout Nancy! You have really touched so many people and for them to "honor" you with a day like this must feel so good. Hannah looks so proud and is just beaming! Keep hanging in there and know that warm thoughts and prayers are sent your way! We love you!

THE SURGERY IS COMPLETE!!!

The surgeon just came to let us know that the surgery went well and that Nancy did well.  They should be bringing her to post op and we may be able to see her in about an hour!!  What can I say, we are all in awe of the talent and skill of these remarkable surgeons and the life giving technology that exists today!  I'll post again after we have had an opportunity to see her.  She's on the other side of the mountain now and though there will be some peaks and valleys ahead over the next few days, she has the will and the spiritual strength to finish the journey and I know all of your love and support will make a huge difference in how quickly she recovers.  I'm sooo relieved and gratified just knowing the surgery is over! Nancy's Dad and proud of it! Vance
