I'm Struggling

Well, the weekend definitely took a toll. I was pretty sick yesterday, fever, racing heart, chest pain, and the need for increased oxygen. I spent the whole day in bed. The home health nurse did come to take blood, so I am waiting to hear if there are signs of a new infection. I just started on a brand new antibiotic last Thursday that we were hoping would work well for me, but it looks like we may need to start IVs again.

Scott and I will be travelling to Pittsburgh tomorrow, I have an appointment with Dr. Pilewski Thursday morning. Dr. Pilewski was good enough to call to check on me last night, I think we all got a little scared with the severity of my symptoms. Though I still feel crummy today, the fever is gone and with the increase in oxygen my heart rate has settled down. I think I'll be doing a lot more sleeping today, however.

Please say a few extra prayers for me. Thank you all so much! Nancy

Oh, Nancy! I wish you felt better. I hope you will be able to rest a lot today so you can feel strong for the traveling. We will say extra prayers for you today. Stay strong. Keep calm. You're awesome! You can do this!

Hi Nancy,
I am sure that you are worn down from all of the fun. I hope you can rest up today and we will definately be saying extra prayers for you today and tomorrow, in hopes that you feel a bit better and have a safe trip tomorrow!

Hello Friends!  As most of you know, I have felt called to assist Christian artist Jason Dunn.  Jason made such a huge impact on my Hannah through his music and positive outlook at a time when she was emotionally and spiritually lost.  God used Jason to answer a very special prayer I had sent to him regarding Hannah. Pain is under control

I was very concerned last night when the pain returned with a vengeance, I almost had to return to the ER, but I was able to talk to my brother-in-law and he suggested I take a second pain pill and that made the difference. I have made sure to be on top of the pain and not let it get so bad again. Hannah stayed home again today, but I am hoping that she will be able to return to school tomorrow. This is a nasty bug! I couldn't let Scott have all of the St. Patty's day fun. What do you think, do curls suite me? Love to you all! Nancy
