A Great Day!

Rose and Haley arrived around 1:00 today. It was so wonderful to see them! We have had a terrific day catching up. Hannah and Haley have really enjoyed each other's company and Rose took the two girls to Barnes and Noble while I was sleeping, so they each got to pick out a book.

Dear Rose was also good enough to get me some large/wide shoes to wear to my doctor's appointment tomorrow, I can't fit into any of my shoes. Wasn't that so thoughtful of her? I guess she thought I would look goofy in my slippers.

I have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow at 10:20. I am anxious to see what they say about how I am progressing. I am a bit nervous about the swelling in my feet and hope they can adjust my medications to help with that. I will let you know tomorrow afternoon what I found out.

Rose brought this picture of Scott, Hannah, and Santa from a Christmas party they all attended. I had to share this great picture of my two cuties (Santa's a cutie too!)

How wonderful Nancy! You look great! Hannah looks so happy! What a way to bring in the New Year! I hope you hear great results form the surgeon tomorrow! Hopefully the swelling situation will be handled! Keep smiling and making that wonderful progress!

You are looking so great! Every picture I see of you shows huge improvement. I am so glad your friend, Rose, could come and visit. How fun for Hannah to see a friend from home. It sounds like they had a great time!

How fun for you and Hannah to have visitors! Sounds like a very nice friend - especially to think of getting you something to wear on your feet to the doctor! Wishing you clear tests today at the surgeon. I've heard those post-transplant appointments can be all-day adventures! I hope you don't get too exhausted! Best wishes!

Hello Friends!  As most of you know, I have felt called to assist Christian artist Jason Dunn.  Jason made such a huge impact on my Hannah through his music and positive outlook at a time when she was emotionally and spiritually lost.  God used Jason to answer a very special prayer I had sent to him regarding Hannah. Pain is under control

I was very concerned last night when the pain returned with a vengeance, I almost had to return to the ER, but I was able to talk to my brother-in-law and he suggested I take a second pain pill and that made the difference. I have made sure to be on top of the pain and not let it get so bad again. Hannah stayed home again today, but I am hoping that she will be able to return to school tomorrow. This is a nasty bug! I couldn't let Scott have all of the St. Patty's day fun. What do you think, do curls suite me? Love to you all! Nancy
