A weekend Recap.

Hello friends!
I had a busy morning, but learned a lot at my insulin pump class. It was a three hour training and it was only me and another young woman, so we got a lot of individualized attention. I will go back for a one-on-one training next Tuesday. I am really excited about getting a pump and can even get a pink model (to match my cell phone and mp3 player).

Tomorrow we get a day off, then Thursday I see Dr. Pilewski and Friday I have my second Bronchoscope. I heard from the ENT and I do have sinusitis, but I may be able to get away with just antibiotics and not surgery, I'll get Dr. Pilewski's thoughts Thursday.

I promised you some more pictures from the weekend. We got so much fun family time, it was wonderful! Hannah taught me how to play several of the Wii games, we did a lot of snuggling, and I watched as Scott and Hannah sledded and made a wonderful snowman!

I directed the snowman making from the warmth of the kitchen.




I wasn't the only sleepy girl at the end of the weekend!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pictures! The one of you all snuggling is so full of hope and promise for the future. Scott and Hannah did a great job building a snowman--he is one skinny guy!

Glad to hear your class went well. I hope the insulin pump will be another great asset to you!

Continue to make those small strides toward your goal. You are doing great and every little obstacle you conquer, is a HUGE step toward your recovery. Keep your chin up and know that we love you dearly!

Have not had the chance to check the blog--kids still ill! love the pictures and I am so glad Sweet Pea came home!!!!! Love the pink pump and it looks so small and cute! Thinking of you!

Hey Girl, Uncle Dave and Elaine say you may need to go a bit slower on your time away. But also soooooo glad you had a wonderful weekend at home with Scott and Hannah. Sometimes recovery can be so slow but you can not push mom nature and the Good Lord on how he heals. One day at a time my dear.

Hello Friends!  As most of you know, I have felt called to assist Christian artist Jason Dunn.  Jason made such a huge impact on my Hannah through his music and positive outlook at a time when she was emotionally and spiritually lost.  God used Jason to answer a very special prayer I had sent to him regarding Hannah. Pain is under control

I was very concerned last night when the pain returned with a vengeance, I almost had to return to the ER, but I was able to talk to my brother-in-law and he suggested I take a second pain pill and that made the difference. I have made sure to be on top of the pain and not let it get so bad again. Hannah stayed home again today, but I am hoping that she will be able to return to school tomorrow. This is a nasty bug! I couldn't let Scott have all of the St. Patty's day fun. What do you think, do curls suite me? Love to you all! Nancy
