Cammi Got Her Lungs!!!!!

I have been dying to share this wonderful news with all of you. Friday morning after my appointments at UPMC I realized I had a voicemail on my cell. It was Cammi's mom, Judy. She called to tell me that Cammi was in surgery getting her new lungs, PRAISE THE LORD!!! This has been such a long time in coming and Cammi deserves those new lungs so much. I have never met a more devoted wife, mother, and daughter. She has become such a close and dear friend and I was a wreck all day Friday waiting for the news that the surgery had gone well. As of last night, she had still not regained full consciousness, but her vitals are good and things are moving forward successfully. When she does wake up, it will be hellish for a couple of days, those first couple of days in ICU were the worst of my life, so she needs your prayers for strength, courage, and peace.


Thank you to all of you who were praying with me for the miracle of new lungs for Cammi. Prayers work! Never lose faith, even when things seem impossible!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Yeah for Cammi! I have been praying so hard for her and wanting this miracle for her so badly! I am so glad she is going to have her chance to live again. What great and amazing news this is!

We will keep praying for her! We know that she does have an uphill road to climb, but with friends like you, a strong family, and God at her side, she can and will do it!

Nancy, you have touched so many and it is so amazing to learn about your friends who are going through the same things that you are going through. Cammi is blessed to know you and have you with her during this journey!

Go Cammi, Go! I know she can do it!

I have been behind on my blurfing and was circling thru your posts when I saw that Cammi was improving, I soooo had to scroll down to see what I missed. Nancy this is the best news I have heard since the day that we got the news of YOU getting your lungs! I am soooooo grateful for this!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!

Hello Friends!  As most of you know, I have felt called to assist Christian artist Jason Dunn.  Jason made such a huge impact on my Hannah through his music and positive outlook at a time when she was emotionally and spiritually lost.  God used Jason to answer a very special prayer I had sent to him regarding Hannah. Pain is under control

I was very concerned last night when the pain returned with a vengeance, I almost had to return to the ER, but I was able to talk to my brother-in-law and he suggested I take a second pain pill and that made the difference. I have made sure to be on top of the pain and not let it get so bad again. Hannah stayed home again today, but I am hoping that she will be able to return to school tomorrow. This is a nasty bug! I couldn't let Scott have all of the St. Patty's day fun. What do you think, do curls suite me? Love to you all! Nancy
