An Update on Cammi

As of this morning, Cammi continues to do well.  She is fully alert now and is able to communicate using a whiteboard.  They have been turning off the ventilator for test runs and hopefully, she will have the vent removed soon.  Yesterday she was put in a chair for several hours and I can tell you from experience, that was uncomfortable and very tiring.  Her pain seems to be well controlled which I am extremely thankful for, it took them several days to get my pain controlled.  Cammi is a fighter and she's strong, I am betting she will be out of ICU by the weekend.

Great news! We will continue to pray for her recovery! As I once told you, take small steps toward that new life of yours. I hope Cammi's recovery continues to move slowly, but in the right direction!

You are such an inspiration to her and have that first-hand knowledge to encourage her on a daily basis.

Hello Friends!  As most of you know, I have felt called to assist Christian artist Jason Dunn.  Jason made such a huge impact on my Hannah through his music and positive outlook at a time when she was emotionally and spiritually lost.  God used Jason to answer a very special prayer I had sent to him regarding Hannah. Pain is under control

I was very concerned last night when the pain returned with a vengeance, I almost had to return to the ER, but I was able to talk to my brother-in-law and he suggested I take a second pain pill and that made the difference. I have made sure to be on top of the pain and not let it get so bad again. Hannah stayed home again today, but I am hoping that she will be able to return to school tomorrow. This is a nasty bug! I couldn't let Scott have all of the St. Patty's day fun. What do you think, do curls suite me? Love to you all! Nancy
