Emotions

Have you ever had one of those days where every little thing makes you cry? That has been today for me. I am not sure if it is the increased medications or if I am just having an emotional breakdown. Thank God I am a woman, people probably just think I'm hormonal or pre-menstrual, or both!

I thought I would let you know the plan. I started on Cipro (antibiotic) and Cellcept (anti-rejection) on Friday. Yesterday, I started a prednisone taper starting at 100 mg and working down. Hopefully today I will be able to get inhaled TOBI from the pharmacy (another antibiotic) and get started on that. I thought my pill minder was full before, now it is overflowing! Please God, let this work!

I am feeling very run down, probably a mixture of the rejection and the infection. It is scary to feel like this again, it has been a while.

Keep those prayers coming, we all KNOW they work!

My love and thanks to you all! Nancy

We're praying, Nancy! Please call if we can help in any way. I'd be happy to take Hannah to any of the upcoming Irish dances.

I hope it all works too. . . I would bet your 100mg of prednisone is your culprit for the emotional roller coaster ~ that's pretty tough stuff and compared to the 5mg you were on.. . . When I had my infection and was hospitalized last year, I felt really lethargic. NO ENERGY~ I just wanted to sleep. So you're probably spot on with that. This too will pass :) I am glad to hear they do not have you in the hospital though! Please keep us updated. You are ALWAYS in my prayers. Love ya!
